FROM 0 TO THE FIRST EDGE
If you have never tried kiting but would like to learn it from us - it is the right place. IKO/FIV instructors with walkie-talkie and support rescue boat are at your disposal.
INTERMEDIATE LEVEL
Thanks to the side-on shore direction of the wind and the service boat, at Free Spirits you will find perfect conditions to set the upwind or try the first jumps.
FREESTYLE & PRO STYLE
In Punta Pellaro you will never find "a washing machine". Even with very strong winds the sea is regular and allows for excellent freestyle or big air training in complete safety.
FOIL E WINGFOIL
Thanks to the deep water from the first few meters of the shoreline, you'll feel great with foils at FSkite. Furthermore, if you want to learn WingFoil, our instructors are at your disposal.

The wind and the seasons
Kitesurfing is practiced all the year round in Punta Pellaro (Calabria). Thanks to the mild temperatures, in winter, you can wear a 4.3 or 3.2 wetsuit, but only 2-3 winter months. The thermometer during Christmas time could show 23 degrees Celsius under the sun. From April onwards the season of constant winds enters, with the heat that typically characterizes Sicily and the southern regions of Italy.
SPRING
Wetsuit 3.2 and lots of sun! The beautiful season of Pellaro comes from March onwards. The temperatures are between 18 and 25 degrees. The sea starts to warm up and the wind often exceeds 25 knots!
SUMMER
The turbines start! Unlike most Italian summer spots, in Pellaro, you will always find constant wind on 18-25 kn side-on and crystal-clear water. This is thanks to the VENTURI effect, which can not stand the typical heat of this region
AUTUMN
It's just a name! Autumn in our country is the same as summer, until the end of October, where the thermometer remains at 25 degrees. The winds are constant from October and strengthen up to 30-32 kn during perturbations! From November onwards we recommend the 3.2 mm wetsuit.
WINTER
Christmas in the water! It is now a tradition to celebrate Christmas in a Santa Claus costume and 25 degrees of heat. Winter is the season of strong winds! 23-25 kn and up! If you like Big Air, it's your season.

JETSURFING
We are the only spot in Europe and perhaps in the world that guarantees surfing 360 days a year! Even with no wind. We can do this thanks to the jetboards - motorized surfboards (electric or petrol) that reach a speed of 56 km/h and can be learned how to ride in less than an hour. Thanks to the collaboration with Top Jet Surfing (best jetsurf store in Italy) at FSkite you will find different types of jetboards (foils, electric, gasoline ones) that you can rent independently or with an instructor.
PARAGLIDING
Have you ever thought about paragliding and making your dream of flying come true? Do it in complete relaxation and safety, alone or accompanied by an experienced pilot. Paragliding take-off is usually done from a slope after verifying that the glider is correctly inflated. Walking through the clouds is an extraordinary experience that you will hardly forget in your life! By the way, we remind you that this adrenaline-pumping sport is suitable for people of all ages.
EXCURSIONS TO SICILIA, TROPEA AND CAPO VATICANO
If you are on holiday in Calabria you must make excursions to Scilla, Tropea and Capo Vaticano. Among breathtaking landscapes and glimpses of rare beauty, you can relax and enjoy the intact nature of these beautiful places. In addition to the sea and nature reserves, there is no lack of historical and cultural attractions: sometimes in these places you get the impression that time has stopped.
